The book is in original cloth with embossed decorations to front covers and spines and gilt edging on all three edges of the book blocks.
The spine of the book is somewhat faded with slight nicking at spine ends. All pages are clean with no writing or drawings except for the previous owner's name on the inside of the front cover as shown. There are also fox-spots to endpapers, text-blocks and some page margins are slightly grubby.
