Detail condition:
The books are very good condition considering their age in original red cloth with gilt illustrations to front cover. The spines of both books are somewhat faded with slight nicking at spine ends. There are also some faint marks on the cover of The Red Book of Animal Stories & a small tear on two pages of The Animal Story Book as shown in photos. This however does not impact the overall quality of the book.
Binding is tight, all pages are clean with no writing or drawing. There are also foxspots to endpapers, textblock and some page margins slightly grubby.
