Detail condition:
The book is in original green cloth board with embossed decorations to front cover and spine. It has slight crinkling to gutters however binding remains firm. Pages and illustrations are tanned with noticeable foxing. There is an inscription to front free endpaper as pictured.
Textblock dyed gold. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners. There are also moderate splits and peeling to spine as shown in the last three photos.
